CTET July 2020 Exam Date Postponed until Further Notice

CTET July 2020 Exam Date Postponed: CTET July exam has been postponed by CBSE. The exam was scheduled to be held on July 5, 2020 which has now been postponed.

Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to postpone the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Issuing a notice on Thursday, CTET director and secretary, CBSE, informed that the 14th edition of Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) - July 2020 scheduled to be held on July 5 is postponed.

The notice further reads that

 "The next date of examination will be intimated when situation is more conducive for conduct of examinations. All the candidates registered for CTET July 2020 are hereby informed that for any update they may visit CTET website www.ctet.nic.in regularly."


"In view of the present circumstances, it has been decided to postpone the CTET July to be conducted by CBSE on 5 July 2020. The next date of examination will be announced if conditions are favorable," tweeted HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal.




Earlier, CTET was scheduled to be held on July 5. which has now been postponed to a later date. A fresh date for the CTET examinat will be released later on the official website of CTET — ctet.nic.in.
