IIM CAT 2020 Admit Card - Common Admission Test: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has launched the official website for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the CAT 2020 examination online at www.iimcat.ac.in on or before September 16, 2020, until 5 pm.

IIM will be conducting a computer-based Common Admission Test 2020 (CAT 2020) on November 29, 2020, in two sessions at various examination centres spread across 156 cities throughout India. The results are likely to be declared by the second week of January 2021.

Eligibility for CAT 2020:

A candidate with minimum 50% marks in graduation can appear in CAT 2020. A final year student in graduation can also appear in CAT conducted by IIMs. However, there is no age limit to apply and appear in CAT 2020.

CAT Exam Pattern:

There is no change in the exam pattern of CAT 2020. The exam will be conducted in computer based mode on November 29, 2020 in two slots. A total of 100 questions will be asked with 60 minutes given to each section. There will be three sections - 

(i) Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension,
(ii) Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
(iii) Quantitative Ability.

Candidates will be not be allowed to switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section.


CAT Test Centres:

CAT will be conducted in test centres spread across around 156 test cities. Candidates will be given the option to select any four test cities in order of their preference.

CAT Application Fee:

₹1000 for SC, ST and PwD category candidates.

₹2000 for all other categories of candidates.

Payment mode of application fee is online.

CAT 2020 Online Registration Process:

Candidates willing to appear CAT 2020 are first required to register themselves by visiting https://iimcat.ac.in, then login to fill online application for CAT 2020.

Important Dates:

Registration opens: August 05, 2020 (10:00 am)
Registration closes: September 16, 2020 (5:00 pm)
Admit card download: October 28 – November 29, 2020
Test date: November 29, 2020
Result declaration: Second week of January, 2021 (Tentative)
