Assam: Appointment of 7000+ LP, ME Teacher Vacancy on August 27

The Elementary Department, Govt. of Assam will begin the appointment process for over 7000 lower primary and upper primary (LP & UP) teachers from August 27. 

Assam health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma announced today on 18/08/2020 in a press meet, "The appointment process for lower primary and upper primary teachers in Assam will begin from August 27".

Dr. Sarma in a press conference said that appointment letters to 300 candidates will be distributed at a proramme to be held at Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati. Other candidates will be able to download the appointment letters from specific websites. Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma mentioned that 7,000 candidates will be appointed as LP, ME teachers.

Minister Sarma also stated that the government will issue the advertisement for the posts of 7,440 high school teachers in the first week of September.
