1. Junior Accounts Assistant

No. of Post: 1 (UR)

Scale of Pay: Rs.14,000-60,500/-, Grade Pay: Rs.6,200/-

2. Typist

No. of Post: 1 (UR)

Scale of Pay: Rs.5,200-20,200/-, Grade Pay: Rs.2,400/-

Qualification for Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2020:

1. Junior Accounts Assistant:

a) Degree Examination in any discipline from a recognized university.

b) He/she must have good working knowledge of office productivity software tools (independent) of any operating system i.e. MS Windows, Linux, Mac etc such as,

  (i) Word Processor,

  (ii) Spreadsheet,

  (iii) Presentation Graphics,

  (iv) Concept of Database,

  (v) Internet,

  (vi) E-mail.

2. Typist:

a) Degree Examination in any discipline from a recognized university.

b) He/she must have good working knowledge of office productivity software tools (independent) of any operating system i.e. MS Windows, Linux, Mac etc such as,

  (i) Word Processor,

  (ii) Spreadsheet,

  (iii) Presentation Graphics,

  (iv) Concept of Database,

  (v) Internet,

  (vi) E-mail.

Maximum Age Limit:

Category wise age limits for the posts, as on last date of receipt of applications, will be as under:-

  • Unreserved: 40 years

  • OBC/MOBC: 43 years

  • SC: 45 years

  • ST (P) & ST (H): 45 years

  • PWD: 50 years

Candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC category shall have to produce non-creamy layer certificate from the competent authority at the time of document verification.

Application Fee for Jr Accounts Assistant & Typist Jobs 2020

The details of application fee to be paid by the candidates are indicated below. Persons with disability (PWD) need not pay any fees.

  • For SC/ ST(P) / ST(H): Rs.150/-
