NMMS Scholarship Assam 2020-2021 - Check Assam NMMS Exam Result 2021:
Online registration for students of Class VIII (8th) for National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS 2020-21 Assam) has been started. Eligible candidates can apply online through National Scholarship Portal (www.scholarships.gov.in) or may apply by visiting (www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in)

About the Scheme (NMMSS):
National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) is awarded to benefit the children of weaker sections of the society. The scholarship is paid to the students till they complete their studies up to class 12th i.e. for a maximum period of 4 years @ Rs. 1000 /- (One thousand) per month.
Eligibility Criteria for NMMS Scholarship, Assam 2020:
Students of Class-VIII studying in Government. Local Body, Govt. Aided, Private Schools are eligible to appear in the examination.
Reservation under NMMS Scholarship, Assam:
* Assam State quota is 2411
— 15% Scholarship will be reserved for students belonging SC category.
— 7.5% Scholarship will be reserved for students belonging ST category.
— 4% for Physically Challenged Group of Students.
Assam NMMS Exam 2020-21 Details:
A written examination of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) will be held on 13th December 2020 for the selection of candidates under NMMS Scholarship Scheme.
* There are two papers:
Paper-l Mental AbilityTest (MAT): 90 Marks; Exam Time- 10 AM - 11:30 AM
Paper-II Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT): 90 marks; Exam Time- 2 PM - 3:30 PM
* Previous 2 years' question papers are also available in the 'Bidyarthi' app.
* The question paper will be in both Assamese & English medium only. The OMR sheet will be in English medium.
Qualifying Marks in NMMS Exam 2020-21:
Qualifying marks for candidates from the General category is 40% in each paper and for candidates from SC, ST, PH is 32% in each paper.
NMMS Examination Fees:
• Rs. 200/- for General & OBC Category
• Rs. 180- for SC/ST Category
• Rs. 175/- for Differently Abled students.
Mode of Payment: Applicants have to pay the exam through Debit/Credit card, internet banking at the time of the application.
Admit Card for NMMS Scholarship Exam Assam 2020-21:
Students can download their NNMS exam Admit Card through online from 'Bidyarthi' app or from official website www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in w.e.f 1 December 2020.
NMMS Exam Centres inAssam:
NTS Examination will be held at 67 Nos. of centres across Assam including all the District Headquarters. Exam centers may be increased or decreased depending upon the number of candidates. The list of examination centres are shown below.
How To Apply Online for Assam NMMS Exam 2020:
The application process of the National Talent (NTS) Examination is ONLINE. Students have to download the 'Bidyarthi' app from the Play Store for Android phone. Moreover. they can apply through official website www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in.
Following documents to be uploaded at the time of apply online:
(i) Passport size photograph & Scan copy of Signature.
(ii) Scan copy of Caste Certificate and Differently Abled Certificate of PWD candidates.
Important Dates of Assam NMMS Exam 2020-21 :
Application Process will be started from 25th October 2020.
Last date for submission of application form is 25th November, 2020.
Date of Examination is 13/12/2020. (Sunday).
E.admit Cards will be issued from 1st December 2020 onwards.
