Assam NMMS Result 2021:
The result of "Assam NMMS Exam 2020-2021" has been declared. The National Mean cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Exam was held on 13 December 2020 in Assam for students of Class VIII (8th). About the NMMS Scholarship Scheme:
National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) is awarded to benefit the children of weaker sections of the society. The scholarship is paid to the students till they complete their studies up to class 12th i.e. for a maximum period of 4 years @ Rs. 1000 /- (One thousand) per month.
Qualifying Marks in NMMS Exam 2020-21:
Qualifying marks for candidates from the General category is 40% in each paper and for candidates from SC, ST, PH is 32% in each paper.
Important Instructions of Assam NMMS Exam Result 2021:
1. The list has been prepared centre wise & district wise. The norms of the scheme are strictly followed at the time of preparation of the result.
2. Qualified candidates of the Examination will have to register alongwith the Bank details etc. & apply under the NMMS scheme at National Scholarship Portal (NSP) on time to get the scholarship amount.
3. After completion of the registration process the concerned institute head has to verify the applicants' DATA at NSP and after that the Inspector of Schools of the concerned district has to approve the same.
4. All those processes have to be completed on time to get the scholarship amount. Once time over, the concerned defaulters will be liable for any kind of lapse of the process.

6. The name of Institution in case of some cadidates are seen missing, which must be informed to us within the stipulated time.
7. Candidates from private schools are not eligible to obtain the scholarship as per the norms of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
