CEE Assam 2024 Registration - Combined Entrance Examination
Govt of Assam released notification to conduct Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2024. The online application/ registration process will start from 14th March 2024 onwards at ASTU website (astu.ac.in). The Assam CEE Exam will be held on 2nd June 2024 (Sunday).
The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is the entrance examination organised by Govt. of Assam for admission into various B.Tech. programme in the engineering colleges of Assam. The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), 2024 will be conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU).

Assam CEE Exam Eligibility Criteria 2024
Resident-ship: The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination individually in the same sitting without any grace marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with a minimum of 50 % (45 % in case of SC and 40 % in case of ST) marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The same sitting means a candidate must appear all the four subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English together.
Age Limit: The Candidate must not be above 21 years or below 17 years of age as on 1st August 2024.
Age Relaxation:
• B.Sc. Passed — 1 Year
• Scheduled Caste — 3 Years
• Scheduled Tribe — 3 Years
Character: The Candidate must possess a good moral character.
Fitness: The Candidate must be physically and mentally fit.

No of MCQs: 120 MCQs
Full Mark: 480 Marks (4 marks for each correct answer).
Negative Marking: 1 mark for each wrong answer.
Medium of Exam: The question paper contains questions both in English and Assamese language.

Assam CEE 2024 Syllabus
The CEE 2024 will be conducted as per the latest syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.
Paper shall be of three (3) hours duration and shall contain 120 multiple choice questions each carrying one mark. Four (4) marks will be awarded for every right answer and one (1) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. There shall be no marks, in case, the candidate selects more than one option in the answer sheet. CEE-2024 will be based on Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) Syllabus .
The examination will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Type and comprise of a Single Paper of 3 (three) hours duration with following distribution:

Assam CEE Application Fee 2024
Candidates need to pay an Application Fee of amount Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only)
Payment Mode: This application fee can de made through online mode by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. Fee once paid, is not refundable.
Payment status will be successful after 1 or 2 days. If payment status still persists pending after 2 days please contact Helpline No. available in the website, immediately.
Assam CEE 2024 Admit Card Release
The ASTU authority will release the Assam CEE admit card 2024 on the official website. The Candidate will be able to download his/her admit card from the University website www.astu.ac.in from 18th May 2024 and up to the date of examination by entering his/her application form number/User name and Password generated during submission of online application.
How to Apply for Assam CEE 2024 Exam
Candidates who fulfill all eligibility criteria of Assam CEE Entrance Exam 2024 are required to fill up online application form through the official website of ASTU (astu.ac.in). The registration process of CEE Assam will be started on 10th May 2022.
