Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 37 Diploma Trainee and Jr Officer Trainee vacancy for its North Eastern Region Transmission System, covering the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland & Tripura. 1. Diploma Trainee ( Electrical)

No. of Posts: 26 [UR: 10, OBC: 6, SC: 3, ST: 6, EWS: 1]

2. Diploma Trainee ( Civil)

No. of Posts: 8 [UR: 2, OBC: 3, SC: 1, ST: 2]

 

3. Diploma Trainee (Electronics)

No. of Posts: 2 [UR: 1, OBC: 1]

 

4. Jr Officer Trainee (HR)

No. of Posts: 1 [ST: 1]

 

Pay Scale: Rs.25000–117500/–(IDA)

Eligibility Criteria of PGCIL Diploma Trainee Recruitment:

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma Trainee ( Electrical/ Civil/ Electronics): Full Time Regular 3 Years Diploma in respective branch of engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PWD. Higher technical qualification like B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E etc with or without Diploma is not allowed. 

• Jr Officer Trainee (HR): Two years (Full time Course) Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ MBA in Human Resource/ Personnel Management /Industrial Relation/ MSW or equivalent from recognized Institute with pass marks for ST/PwD Candidates and with minimum of 55% for Ex-SM.

Age Limit:

• Diploma Trainee ( Electrical/ Civil/ Electronics): 27 years for General/ EWS, 30 years for OBC (NCL), 32 years for SC/ ST

• Jr Officer Trainee (HR): 32 years for ST

Selection Process:

Only Written Test/ Computer Based Test shall be conducted.

Application Fee:

Rs 300/-. SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/Departmental candidates need not pay the Application Fee regardless of the post being reserved for them or not.
