Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 25487 posts of Constable (General Duty) vacancy in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR). Interested and eligible candidates apply online.

Eligibility Criteria of SSC Constable GD Recruitment

 

Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India. Vacancies in CAPFs & AR are State/UT/area wise, hence a candidate must submit a domicile certificate/ PRC against his domiciled state/ UT.

Age Limit: 18-23 years as on 1st January 2026. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2003 and later than 01-01-2008.

Age Relaxation: Permissible relaxations in upper age limit for different categories are as under:

  • SC/ ST: 5 years

  • OBC 3: years

  • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years

Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University as on or before the cut-off date i.e., 01-01-2026.

SSC Constable GD Application Fee

• Rs. 100/- for UR/ OBC-MOBC candidates to be paid through SBI Challan / SBI Net Banking or using Visa, MasterCard or Maestro Credit or Debit card.

• No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women and Ex-Serviceman.
