Cotton University Recruitment Details

Name of Post: Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor

No. of Post:

• Professor — 21 Posts

• Associate Professor — 46 Posts

• Assistant Professor — 100 Posts

Eligibility: Applicants should have an excellent academic record and fulfil requisite qualifications and criteria laid down in the UGC Regulations 2018 and the rules of Govt. of Assam.

Scale of Pay:

1. Professor (Academic Level-14): Rs.1,44,200/- to Rs.2,18,200/-

2. Associate Professor (Academic Level-13A): Rs.1,31,400/- to Rs.2,17,100/-

3. Assistant Professor (Academic Level-10): Rs. 57,700/- to Rs.1,82,400/-

(Plus other allowances as admissible under the rules of Govt. of Assam for all levels mentioned above.)

Application Fee of Cotton University

Candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs.2000/- only (in case of SC/ST Rs.1000/- only) as application fee. Overseas candidates need to pay US $ 100/- per application.

The candidate must

(i) Email a soft copy/copies of all relevant documents along with the application form in a single PDF file to recruit2024@cottonuniversity.ac.in.

(ii) Send hard copy of the filled in application form along with the photocopies of the relevant documents to "The Registrar, Cotton University, Panbazar, Guwahati-781001, India". The candidates must produce the original certificates/documents/testimonials at the time of interview.

Candidates desirous of applying to more than one post should submit separate applications for each post along with requisite application fee.
