Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 1671 vacancy of Security Assistant/ Executive (SA/ Exe) & Multi-Tasking Staff/ General (MTS/ Gen) posts in the Subsidiary Intelligence Bureaux, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India. Candidates who submitted online applications for these posts and qualified in the Tier-I Exam need to appear in Tier-II Exam to be conducted by Intelligence Bureau, India. Eligibility Criteria of Intelligence Bureau (IB) Recruitment

Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education.

Domicile: Applicants must be the domicile of the state where he/she wants to apply.

Knowledge of Language: The candidate needs to know the local language of the SIB to apply for that region. For more details, please refer to page number 1 & 2 of the official notification.

   • For Assam: Assamese, Bodo, Bengali (Sylheti), Mishing, Dimasa, Rabha, Tiwa, Kuki, Hmar, Paite, Nepali, Garo, Karbi, Santhali, Koch-Rajbanshi, Manipuri (Meitei), Pnar& Khasi.

Age Limit:

1. Security Assistant/ Executive  — Not exceeding 27 years as on 25.11.22

2. Multi-Tasking Staff /General  — 18-25 years as on 25.11.22

Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST & by 3 years for OBC candidates. For more details, check official notification.
