Educational Qualification:
➢ Assistant Manager (Electrical, Mechanical, Information Technology, Instrumentation, Civil):
Candidates
must have a Full time Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)/Bachelor of
Technology (B.Tech) degree in respective branch of engineering should be
from University/institution approved by All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE) and the course duration should be of minimum 4 years
after HSSLC or equivalent or 3 years after completion of full time
Diploma course in Engineering from any Govt./Govt. recognized/AICTE
approved Polytechnic/institution or 2 years (Base) + 2 Years (Diploma) +
2 Years (Engineering) course from Govt./Govt. recognized/AICTE approved
institution.
➢ Percentage of Marks: A minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination of B.E/ B.Tech for the said post is required. However, in respect of SC/ST candidates, minimum 50% marks is must in the qualifying examination of Bachelor Degree.

➢ Assistant Manager (Human Resource):
Candidates
must have a 02 (Two) years full time degree of Master in Business
Administration (MBA/post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with
specialization in (Human Resource Management/Personnel Management/
industrial Relations) from any Indian University/ institution approved
by AICTE/UGC).
➢ Percentage of Marks: A
minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying in the examination of MBA/PGDM
for the said post is required. However, in respect of SC & ST
candidates, minimum 55% marks is must in the qualifying examination of
MBA/PGDM Degree.

Other Criteria of APGCL Recruitment
Residentship: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to B of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam.
PRC: The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/Voter ID/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency with the application.
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 (Twenty-One) years of age and not more than 38 (Thirty-Eight) years of age as on 1st April 2026.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
• SC/STP/STH — 5 years
• OBC/MOBC — 3 years
• PwBD — 10 years
