College of Veterinary Science Guwahati Recruitment Details

1. Research Associate-I

No. of Post: 2

Qualification: Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Animal Biotechnology/ Veterinary Microbiology OR Master's degree in Life science/ Veterinary Science with 3 years of R & D experience

and at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.

Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having experience in animal cell culture related work.

Emoluments: Rs.47,000/- + HRA (as per Govt. rule) per month

2. Project Associate (PA)
No of posts: 2

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Life Science/ Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Veterinary Science.

Desirable Qualification: Candidates having research experience in the area of molecular biology, diagnostic Microbiology, cloning and expression will be preferred.

Emoluments: Rs.31,000.00 + HRA for NET/GATE qualified or MVSc candidates and 25000.00 + HRA for others, per month

3. Laboratory Assistant
No of Posts: 2

Essential Qualification: B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.Sc. (Biotech)/B.Sc. (Microbiology)/ B.Sc. Desirable: Proficiency in computer applications/Previous working experience in similar capacity.

Emoluments: Rs.20,000.00 + HRA (as per Govt. rule) per month

❖ Interested candidates with requisite qualifications can apply by filling the Google Form using the link https://forms.gle/BiS7tqHNHiVTeLVv7 for their candidature for respective posts applied for (in the given format) on or before 2nd November 2025 and upload their BIODATA in the given format along with a single PDF file (Max. 10 MB size) containing relevant certificates testifying their academic credentials, working experience, proof of age and caste by uploading in the Google form itself. 

❖ Candidates willing to apply for more than one post may indicate the same by clicking on the corresponding check boxes of the Google form. 
 

❖ Only selected short-listed candidates will be called for appearing in the interview to be held within 3-5 working days after screening. 
 
❖ Last date of submission of application:  on or before 2nd November 2025 .
 

❖ At the time of interview, the short-listed candidates have to submit a copy of their BIODATA (format enclosed), one set of hard copies of all relevant documents (self-attested) and a Bank Draft of Rs. 100.00 (Rupees one hundred only) / Rs.50.00 (Rupees fifty only) for ST/SC candidates (separately for each post applied for), drawn in favour of Director of Research (Veterinary), payable at Khanapara, Guwahati. They shall have to also produce the original documents for verification at the time of interview.
