Assam Skill University (ASU), Mangaldai is the first Government Skill University of Assam, which is functioning from its Guwahati office released a job advertisement for recruitment of 5 posts of Hostel Supervisor, Guest House & Transit Accommodation Supervisor, Electrician and Plumber vacancy for Assam Skill University on CONTRACTUAL basis initially for a period of six (6) months, which may be renewed based on requirement and performance evaluation.

1. Hostel Supervisor (Boys’ / Girls’)
No. of Post: 1
Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Preferable Qualification & Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hostel management / student welfare / residential facilities in any reputed university, educational institution, or government organization.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of computer applications.
• For the Hostel Supervisor (Girls’), only female candidates shall appear.
• For the Hostel Supervisor (Boys’), only male candidates shall appear.
• It is compulsory to stay in the respective hostel.

2. Guest House & Transit Accommodation Supervisor

Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Preferable Qualification & Experience:
• Preference will be given to Degree/ Diploma holder in Hospitality Management / Hotel Management / or any equivalent discipline from a recognized institute/ university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in managing guest houses, hotels, or institutional accommodation.
• Should have good administrative and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of accounts, billing, and computer operations.

3. Electrician
No. of Post: 1
Essential Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical Trade from a recognized institute.
Preferable Qualification & Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance work in a government / public sector / reputed large industrial firm or large private organization.
• Possess a valid Electrical License.
• Ability to handle wiring, lighting, and power distribution systems independently.

4. Plumber
No. of Post: 1
Essential Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Plumbing Trade from a recognized institute.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing and sanitation maintenance work in an institutional / government setup.
• Should be familiar with water supply systems, fittings, and repair works.

Age Limit for Assam Skill University Recruitment
Maximum 40 years as on the date of interview. Relaxation may be given to deserving candidates as per norms.
