Assam HS First Year Admission 2024 - Check HS 1st Year Merit List

Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has started the Online Admission/ Registration Process/ Form Fill up for HS First Year Admission 2024. An online web portal called “Darpan” has beeen launched for HS 1st Year Admission. The online Admission process started on 23rd April 2024. Students who have passed HSLC exam this year may apply online for HS first-year courses under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) for the academic session 2024-2025.

This year, Assam HS first year Admission will be completed through "Darpan", the common portal for online HS admission, to be available on AHSEC’s official website http://www.ahsec.assam.gov.in .

Assam HS First Year Admission Merit List 2024

The category-wise Assam HS Admission 2024 Merit List will be available on the DARPAN official website. The merit list will be published by the concerned institutions. Students will have to select the school or college of their choice by visiting Darpan portal . 

Apply Process for Assam HS First Year Admission 2024

Students who passed HSLC 2024 exam and want to get admission into the Higher Secondary 1st year courses in different Institutions including Universities/ Degree Colleges/ Senior Secondary Schools/ Higher Secondary Schools under the AHSEC must apply online. 

➢ Scroll down, Go to Important Links section below.

➢ Click on HS First-Year Admission link.

➢ A portal will load, Login using your HSLC/AHM Roll No. and Date of Birth (as per Admit Card).

➢ After that, you need to choose the college, course type and other details you want.

➢ Upload scan copy of photograph, signature and other necessary documents.

➢ After filling and verifying all the details, you have to click on submit button.

➢ After submitting the application, keep the system generated acknowledgment for future use.

Required Documents to Complete Application

Students must keep the following listed documents ready in JPG, JPEG or PNG file format before proceeding for the online application. Also, the size of the file should be maximum 1 MB.

• Recent Passport Size Photograph.

• 10th Marksheet (Digital).

• Caste Certificate (If Applicable).

• Disability Certificate (If Applicable).

• TGL or Ex-TGL Certificate (If Applicable).

• Gap Certificate (If Applicable).

• Last date to apply online: 2nd May 2024

• Preparation of merit list by institutes: 3rd to 4th May 2024

• Date of Declaration of Merit List: 5th May 2024

• Acceptance of admission offer by students: 6th to 8th May 2024
