Assam HS First Year Admission 2025 - Check HS 1st Year Merit List

Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division - II has started the Online Admission/ Registration Process/ Form Fill up for HS First Year Admission 2025. An online web portal called “Darpan” has beeen launched for HS 1st Year Admission. The online Admission process started on 17th April 2025. Students who have passed HSLC exam this year may apply online for HS first-year courses under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) for the academic session 2025-2026.

This year, Assam HS first year Admission will be completed through "Darpan", the common portal for online HS admission, to be available on AHSEC’s official website http://www.ahsec.assam.gov.in .

Assam HS First Year Admission Merit List 2025

The category-wise Assam HS Admission 2025 Merit List will be available on the DARPAN official website. The merit list will be published by the concerned institutions. Students will have to select the school or college of their choice by visiting Darpan portal . 

Apply Process for Assam HS First Year Admission 2025

Students who passed HSLC 2025 exam and want to get admission into the Higher Secondary 1st year courses in different Institutions including Universities/ Degree Colleges/ Senior Secondary Schools/ Higher Secondary Schools under the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division - II must apply online.

➢ Click on HS First-Year Admission link.

➢ A portal will load, Login using your HSLC Roll No. and Date of Birth (as per Admit Card).

➢ After that, you need to choose the college, course type and other details you want.

➢ Upload scan copy of photograph, signature and other necessary documents.

➢ After filling and verifying all the details, you have to click on submit button.

➢ After submitting the application, keep the system generated acknowledgment for future use.

Required Documents to Complete Application

Students must keep the following listed documents ready in JPG, JPEG or PNG file format before proceeding for the online application. Also, the size of the file should be maximum 1 MB.

• Recent Passport Size Photograph.

• 10th Marksheet (Digital).

• Caste Certificate (If Applicable).

• Disability Certificate (If Applicable).

• TGL or Ex-TGL Certificate (If Applicable).

• Gap Certificate (If Applicable).

Important Dates of Assam HS Admission 2025

• Starting date to apply online: 17th April 2025

• Last date to apply online: 24th April 2025

• Preparation of merit list by institutes: 25th April 2025 to 26th April 2025

• Date of Declaration of Merit List: 27th April 2025 (At 10:00 AM)

• Acceptance of admission offer by students: 27th April 2025 to 29th April 2025

• Confirmation of admissions by institutions: 30th April 2025 to 10th May 2025
