Name of Post:

• Professor — 10 posts

• Associate Professor — 22 posts

• Assistant Professor — 26 posts

Minimum Essential Qualification: As per the existing UGC norms (UGC Regulation - 2018). UGC Regulation (additional) issued in continuation of 2018 Regulation, if any will be applicable.

Pay Scale (as per latest UGC revision):

• Professor (Academic Level-14): Rs.1,44,200/- to 2,18,200/-

• Associate Professor (Academic Level-13A): Rs.1,31,400/- to 2,17,100/-

• Assistant Professor (Academic Level-10): Rs. 57,700/- to 1,82,400/-

• SC/ST — Rs. 750/-

➢ Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply online only through the Gauhati University website www.gauhati.ac.in at Teaching Recruitment Candidate Portal : https://gauhatirec.samarth.edu.in.

 

➢ The candidates must have a valid email id and mobile number through which he/she will get registered with the online application portal. 

❖ After submission of the ONLINE application in the portal a duly signed hard copy (pdf) of the completed application(s) must be submitted to "The Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-781014, Assam" along with all necessary enclosures including the proof of submission of application fee and "No Objection Certificate (NOC)", wherever applicable, by the last date.

❖ The envelope containing the application should be super scribed

❖ "Application for the post of ___________, Gauhati University, Advt. No. T/2025/3".

❖ Applicants must submit a copy of the e-generated receipt of the payment along with the hard copy of the application.
