Stipend per month: 

➢ B.E/B.Tech – Rs. 15000/-
➢ Bachelor in Arts/Commerce/Administration etc  – Rs. 12300/-
 

The Screening-cum-Selection Committee may offer a higher stipend, up to Rs. 20,000/- p.m based on the candidate’s performance in the interview.

Eligibility Criteria for STPI Apprentice Trainee Recruitment 

Degree/ Discipline:

➢ Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech)/ Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in following discipline:
 

• Electronics

• Electricals

• Electronics & Communications

• Telecommunications

• Computer Science

• Information Technology.

➢ Bachelor in following discipline: 

 

• Arts

• Commerce

• Administration etc.

Age Limit (As on 14/09/2026):

Minimum Age- 18 yrs
 

Maximum Age-
 

• Unreserved – 27 yrs
• OBC – 30 yrs
• SC/ST – 32 yrs

How to Apply for STPI Apprentice Trainee Recruitment 2026

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may apply online on or before 30/09/2026 through STPI’s Web Portal (under Career Section) i.e. www.stpi.in. 

It is mandatory for the candidates to register on NATS Portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) first before applying for Apprenticeship through STPI’s Portal. Candidate needs to mention the NATS Enrolment ID on STPI’s Online application module.

 

Only completed Degree/ Diploma holder candidates who had completed their qualification in June 2021 or thereafter shall be considered for engagement as Apprentice Trainee.
