NERIE B.Ed Admission 2024 Notification

NERIE, Umiam, Meghalaya has released notification for Common Entrance Examination - CEE 2024 for admission into 2 year regular B.Ed. Course at NERIE, Umiam. Eligible candidates from eight states of the North East- Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura may apply online at (nerie.nic.in).

Eligibility Criteria of NERIE B.Ed Admission

(a) Candidates with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s degree in Science/ Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology (with Science or Mathematics) or in Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Social Science/Humanities are eligible for admission to the programme (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates). The candidates should upload only the marks secured in degree examination as qualifying marks.

(b) Candidates with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree in Science/ BE/B.Tech. (science/ mathematics) are eligible for B.Ed. (science and math group) and candidates with Bachelor’s degree in social science/ humanities or Master degree in social science/humanities are eligible for B.Ed. (Social Science and Language group), respectively.

The category wise application fee is as given below:

• General and OBC — Rs. 1200/-

• SC/ ST/ PwD/ EWS — Rs. 600/-

How to Apply for NERIE B.Ed Admission 2024

Eligible students from 8 North-Eastern states interested in the NERIE 2 years B.Ed course may apply online through the official website www.cee.ncert.gov.in from 30th April 2024.
