NHM Assam CHO 2020 (July): Check Counselling Schedule of Certificate in Community Health (CCH)

NHM Assam CHO 2020 (July Batch): National Health Mission, Assam released a notification for 6 months Certificate in Community Health (CCH) for July 2020 Batch.

Candidates who successfully complete this course will get certificate from Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) and will be posted in the Sub-Centers - Health & Wellness Centres as Community Health Officer (CHO) in Assam.

NHM Assam CHO 2020 Details:

Name of the Course: Certificate in Community Health (CCH)

Total Seats: 660

Duration of the Course: 6 months (Full time, Theory and Practical Classes)

Eligibility for NHM Assam CCH Course 2020:

B.Sc.(Nursing) Post Basic B. Sc Nursing Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM) from a recognized Institute Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognized Institute or University from a recognized institute or University/ GNM Course Passed & registered with Assam Nurses Midwives'& Health Visitors' Council.

The course is open to any eligible candidate including existing contractual employees of NHM, State Health Society.

Age Limit for Community Health Certificate Course:

Less than 35 years of age: however, less than 40 years for the SCs and STs.

Stipend Remuneration During the Course:

For In-service Candidates: Respective Remuneration/Salary per month + Rs. 10,000/- per month for Faoding/ Lodging.

For other Candidates Stipend Rs, 10,000/- per month + Rs. 10,000/- per month for Fooding/ Lodging.

Remuneration: On successful completion of the course, the CHOs, if absorbed under NHM will receive Rs. 25,000/ per month and performance based incentives up to Rs. 15,000/- per month.

Selection Procedure:

The eligible candidates will be selected based on the aggregate percentage secured by the candidate in the last qualifying degree / diploma. The selected candidate has to sign surety bond immediately after the placement in the Programme Study Centre.

Counseling Notice for 6 months Certificate in Community Health: After successfully conducted the Written Examination for 6 months Certificate in Community Health (CCH) on 12th January 2020, NHM Assam invites all shortlisted candidates to attend the Counseling session to be held at Gauhati Medical College Auditorium, Bhangagarh, Guwahati-32.

National Health Mission (NHM), Assam invites the candidates who are willing and enthusiastic to serve the community by bringing health care services to the doorsteps of the community to apply for the 6-Months Certificate Course in Community Health for Nurse & Ayurveda Practitioners.

NHM Assam 6-Months Certificate Course Details:

This Course is part of an initiative under the National Mission to strengthen Sub-Centres as Health & Wellness Centers (H&WCs). The Program will be implemented by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
National Health Mission, Assam shall provide support for boarding and lodging allowance; IGNOU fees; transport for practicum and other training related costs. Apart from this, candidates will continue to receive their salary/ remuneration during the training period.
After successful completion of the Course, the successful candidates will be posted at the identified Sub-Centres in rural areas as Mid Level Service Provider and will receive performance incentives for working as Mid Level Service Providers (MLHPs)

Eligibility Criteria for 6-Months Certificate Course of NHM, Assam:

Essential Criteria:

B.Sc. (Nursing) Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM) from a recognized Institute/ Bachelor of Science in Nursing/ Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)/ GNM Course passed & Registered with Assam Nurses', Midwives', & Health Visitor' Council.

Desirable Criteria:

Proficiency in regional/ local language and dialect
Desirable to have work experience in the public health system, preferably at the Primary/ Community Health Center level.
2 years of relevant work experience in health sector.

Age Limit: Less than 35 years of age; however, less than 40 years for SCs and SCs.

Remuneration: Upto Rs.40,000/- per month including performance based incentives component.
