[SCERT Assam, Written Test Result Declared 2019]

Written Examination for different non-gazetted posts under Directorate of SCERT, Assam against advertisement in pursuance of the Govt. approval vide no. AEE.555/2018/11 dated 28.02.2019 will be held on 17.08.2019 and 18.08.2019 at Guwahati.

Guidelines for selection of candidates for different non-gazetted posts under Directorate of SCERT, Assam
  1. There will be Total 100 marks for Evaluation and Assessment of the candidates.
  2. The distribution of Marks will be as follows. Written test of 75 marks, Proficiency/ skill test of 25 marks.
  3. The written test will be OMR based examination which will be comprised of 75 multiple-choice questions(MCQ). Each MCQ will carry 1( one) mark. 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
  4. 4. For smooth conduct of the written test, the different posts are divided into 6(six) categories as follows:
Group-(A)
1. Laboratory Assistant(DIET)
2. L.D.A cum Typist (DIET)
3. Stenographer (Grade-III)
4. Office Assistant (BTC)
5. Demonstrator (CTE)
6. Library Assistant (CTE)
7. L.D.A cum Typist (IASE and CTE)

Group-(B)
1. Technician (DIET)
2. Computer Technician (CTE)
3. Technician (HTTC)
4. Operator (HQ)

Group-(C)
1. Graduate Instructor (BTC)
2. Assistant Teacher (Normal School)
3. Normal Instructor (BTC)
4. Normal Instructor
5. Instructor (Normal School)

Group-(D)
1. Hindi Teacher (Normal School)

Group-(E)
1. Librarian (DIET)

Group-(F )
1. Work Experience Teacher


Pattern of written test/ Distribution of marks in the written test:

Group-(A): English(25), Mathematical Ability (20), Reasoning and mental ability(20), Computer and General Knowledge(10)

Group-(B): Computer and IT(40), English(15), Mathematical Ability(10), Reasoning and GK(10)

Group-(C): Teaching pedagogy(40), English(20), General knowledge, Reasoning and ICT(15)

Group-(D): Hindi literature and grammar of undergraduate level(50), General knowledge and Reasoning(15), teaching pedagogy(10)

Group-(E): Library science and information(60), English, Computer and IT(15)

Group-(F): Work experience and Skill-based(50), English(15), General knowledge and reasoning(10)


Note: Four candidates against each post will be shortlisted for proficiency/skill test and verification of documents.

Admit Cards for SCERT Assam Written ExamAdmit cards will be uploaded in the portal in the 5th August 2019. Candidates will download their admit card using their respective Registration ID and Date of Birth as their password and get a print.

  • Availability of Admit Card to download from: 5th August 2019
Note: Provisional admit cards will be issued to all candidates for appearing in the written test. However, their candidature will be canceled if any anomalies occur at the time of verification of documents.
