Gauhati High Court Give Stay Order on Irrigation Department Result of Assam: 

On Wednesday, The Gauhati High Court give a stay order on the results of the examinations for the 397 posts of Section Assistants of the Irrigation Departments of Assam. The Irrigation Department has been prohibited to announce the results without prior permission from Gauhati High Court.

According to various media reports, the examinations were conducted by a blacklisted company, Aptech, which was earlier blacklisted by the Allahabad High Court. The Irrigation department has conducted the examinations for the posts of Section Assistants through this company.

The OMR based Written examination for 397 posts of Section Assistants has conducted on 1st & 2nd February 2020.
